New Engineer on Board at RTI
The Pennsylvania-based software company, Real Time Intelligence welcomes a new member to the engineering team.
Jacob Kizzee
Jacob Kizzee, a former consultant for the Real Time Intelligence team, jumps all in as a senior software engineer based in Greenville, South Carolina.
What excites Jacob about working at Real Time Intelligence the most is “the diverse nature of the programmers on our team. We have a wide range of experience levels which is a great balance.” The new guys challenge the senior ones with new ways of doing things, and the experienced ones teach the new ones their tested techniques. The ability to have diverse skillsets but all speak the same language is excellent.”
Jacob is an experienced full-stack software engineer with a demonstrated history of working in the computer software industry. He earned his bachelor’s degree focused in Mechanical Engineering from Clemson University. Jacob also brings a strong manufacturing background to the engineering team with experience working at Magna International and Robert Bosch Tool Corporation, where he worked on Manufacturing Process Improvements.
“My background on the manufacturing floor helps me in my day-to-day role at Real Time Intelligence. I’ve been on that forklift pulling stuff from a truck, moving it to storage – having that physical experience influences my relationships with customers and helps me troubleshoot problems on the manufacturing floor.”
When he’s not focused on development and designing system architecture, he loves spending time with his family of seven on their small farm, raising chickens, rabbits, and goats.
